    The Parents, Teachers Association of the Koforidua Secondary Technical School (SECTECH) has procured furniture to ameliorate inadequate furniture challenges confronting the School. Parents were levied GH¢100 each towards the project, a decision taken during a PTA meeting held in December 2018. Some parents tell Starr News they were taken aback over the amount having paid GH¢10 PTA dues and GH¢30 Levy for PTA projects during registration of their wards in September 2018.     Hyundai has shown off a small model of a car it says can activate robotic legs to walk at 3mph (5km/h) over rough terrain. Also able to climb a 5ft (1.5m) wall and jump a 5ft gap, the Hyundai Elevate could be useful for emergency rescues following natural disasters, it said.     American scientist Larry Roberts who helped design and build the forerunner of the internet has died aged 81. In the late 1960s, he ran the part of the US Advanced Research Projects Agency (Arpa) given the job of creating a computer network called Arpanet. He also recruited engineers to build and test the hardware and software required to get the system running. Arpanet pioneered technologies underpinning the internet that are still used today.     Vodafone Ghana has won one lot of 2x5MHz frequency spectrum block in the 800 MHz Band for mobile services, the National Communications Authority has announced. It follows a “successful financial negotiations,” the NCA said in a statement on Wednesday December 26, 2018. “This is the result of the process which begun in September, 2018 when the NCA published a Request for Applications (RFA) and made available three lots of 2x5MHz in the 800MHz band,” the statement added.     The co-founder of the popular app HQ Trivia, Colin Kroll, has been found dead in his apartment in New York at the age of 34.
